Keep your dreams flowing with new pipes! Don't let a pipe leak ruin your day, get ahead of it. We have several tips below to have you determine if it's time to get your copper pipes replaced.
There are several types of copper pipe such as M-Type, L-Type, and K-type. The primary difference between each of these types is the thickness and durability.
Each type has an estimated life span.
- M-Type: 20-50 years
- L-Type: 50-100 years
- K-Type: 100+ Years
The lifespan of copper pipe can be significantly less then even what it's rated for depending on several factors:
- Constant high pressure
- Acidic water (high pH)
- Basic water (low pH)
If you have an old home/business, deteriorating pipes, or pinholes in your pipe; it is probably time to have your pipes replaced!
